California Valley Quail

The state bird of California, the Valley Quail are found along the Western Regions of the United States and Mexico. Similar in appearance to the Gambles Quail, the Valley is one of the easiest for beginners to raise. Keep in mind they are very nervous birds and should be kept in larger pens to allow them to get away from danger and people.
