Blue Scale Quail

Blue Scale Quail are found wild in northern and central Mexico, Arizona, New Mexico, western Texas, and the southwestern portion of Kansas. Like the Gambles Quail, they do just fine in colder climates as long as they can get out of the weather, and are more of a hobbyist bird. Not quite as nervous as the gambles, the Blue Scales can tame down over time, but not nearly as much as the bobwhites and their mutations.
